There are many benefits to vaping compared to smoking cannabis flower. First and foremost, vaping cannabis is considerably more discreet than smoking. Consumers can step outside for a quick hit with little odor making it less detectable to people walking by, and little to no odor left behind on their clothes and breath. Second, vaping is considered to be safer than smoking by most people since there is no combustion of the actual plant matter and no smoke. (We are not doctors, so please consult your physician on the negative impacts of smoking vs vaping.) Lastly, vaping is much quicker than smoking cannabis flower. You can achieve your desired effect vaping by turning on your pen, and taking a few hits. Smoking cannabis flower generally takes more time to prepare and smoke.

Generally speaking, concentrates get you higher than smoking flower. This is due to the percentage of THC present in concentrates vs cannabis flower. Cannabis concentrates The Boston Garden sells will range from 60% to 97% THC due to the process of extracting the THC from cannabis flower to make the concentrates. So, it will take 2 to 3 times less concentrate by weight to have the same effect as smoking flower. That being said, cannabis impacts everyone a little differently so we recommend starting with a small dosage of concentrates if you have not used them previously. You can always smoke more, but you can’t unsmoke what has already been smoked!
